Another Lamp

If there's one thing I love, it's a thrift store lamp make over.  I swear, I think there should be s new show where you have to find something at a thrift store and compete to see who can give it the best make over.  I think a lot of us would be very good on that show.

I did a few other lamp face lifts  here and here, but I think this one is my favorite.  It was pretty easy, just spray painted the base a glossy black and replaced the shade with one from Target.

Just a sweet little ol' lampy waiting for some love.  If this were lamp high school, I have a feeling she would be sitting alone at lunch.

 Shazam!  She exudes confidence now.

Now she must patiently wait until I can get my act together and finish this library.

    Oh how I remember those high school days....I could have used some spray paint back then. I love the lamp it really looks great, I have a few lamps that need a little attention....thanks for putting that on my to do list Kathleen.

    the old her is kinda eclectic and artsy? she wouldn't be sitting alone. she'd be sitting with all the other art nerds :)
