The blue is a tad darker in real life.
Love those feet!
Is it wrong to be in love with a dresser?
Oh yeah, and can somebody please help me get "call me maybe" outta my head.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, consider yourself lucky.

I too recieved the Abusson blue and put it on a brown dresser-which was the first thing to sell at my new booth! My blue looked so much different than this though, I was not real happy with how my dresser turned out-even considered not putting it in the booth and then it is the first thing that sells!haha
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love! Had to pop over and check out your blog as well. :-) Yes - we do have a lot in common! The Aubusson Blue is spectacular, isn't it? I adore the feet on this one too. Great work!

ReplyDeleteGREAT!!!!! That song was stuck in my head most of this week and some of last....it was FINALLY GONE after listening to to country for a while in the car! I've had Kenny Chesneys Come Over in my head......NOW it's gonna be back to this one! Waaahhhhh! :'-0
ReplyDeleteHey I just met you and this is CRAZY so here's my number......uhhhhhhg!
Ok I'm gonna forgive you because you have given me this GREAT piece to think about all night! It's beautiful. I don't know how you paint like that! If I left wood showing like that on one of my pieces, I would think it just looks like it's not done and I would keep painting! But I never think that when looking at other artists pieces! Great job!
What spectacular detail! great color choice too.Love it!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this color. Beautiful job.

ReplyDeleteThis one stopped me dead in my tracks! BEAUTIFUL work here girl! I find it so stinkin' hard to get this beautiful weathered/worn/faded/time loved look, I always think it looks 'weird' so I just keep going & before you know it, I've completely covered the piece. This one is SO getting pinned. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work with us to be inspired by :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I think it is absolutely normal to love a dresser....or a chair...or a table or....you get the idea. I do it all the time. *Giggles*
It really is okay to be in love with furniture. I do it all the time too!! Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting. I'm happy you liked the chair. And yes, you can totally paint fabric with ASCP. I wouldn't recommend it on everything yet at this point, but I'm experimenting with it when I have nothing to lose.
ReplyDeleteYour dresser is absolutely gorgeous!! Have a great week-end,
Nicole
