Dresser Turned Linen Chest

We had a nice long rain storm last night that brought in a crisp new feeling to the air.
Along with this new cold front coming, I finally got the urge to paint the dresser that has been sitting on my porch since before I found out I was pregnant.

That was about 6 months ago.

The cabinet doors were in bad shape, and as adorable as they were, I decided to take them off.

In doing so I turned it into a linen chest.  It would be perfect in a hallway, bathroom or guest room.

The color is Woodlawn Valley Haze by Valspar.

  1. As much as I loved the doors on this piece I really do love the look of the cabinet without them. It's a beautiful piece, you did a fabulous jpb on it!

  4. This turned out GORGEOUS! You are a genius for taking off those doors! I usually get so caught up in preserving original everything, that I forget to think outside the box like you did! This is awesome! I hope it sells fast!
