Updated dresser

My sister brought me an old dresser from who knows where.  Let's just say it had seen better days.  I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do anything with it, since it had a laminate top.  And several dings and scratches in it.  But I worked my magic and it turned out better than I imagined.

  2. LOVE IT. Care to share how you worked around the laminate top? I have a few peices I would like to transform, but I'm kinda scared to work with laminate.

    Thanks!

  8. I found your blog from JAG's Show and Share Day.

I just bought a dresser very similar to this, and didn't realize that it had a laminate top until it was delivered. I was planning on painting it also, so if you care to share any tips about painting the laminate on yours, it would be MUCH appreciated!

  16. Looks great! I believe that dresser was mine at one time many years ago. My mom still has the desk that matches it. May have to get that from her and re-do it.

  17. I think I do have the cousin, how funny! Although my top is not laminate but something glossy on top of wood. Yours turned out great! What color paint did you use?
