My Front Door

I'm getting a little trigger happy with my paintbrush.  It seems I want to paint everything in sight.  It’s just so amazing what a little paint can do to freshen up, in this case my front door.
There are lots of painted front doors for the out side but I rarely see a painted door on the inside.  After painting our basement door, I got inspired to do another.
Here, the door before with some paint already applied.

        I loved this turquoise color, but I just used what I had on had and mixed up a paler version

    I personally like your door BETTER than the inspiration photo. It looks more rustic yet shabby. Well done. I too have been drowning in a paint bucket!! Today I'm at it again. :)

    I love it! What a difference it makes, the color is amazing. I'm painting my door tomorrow, just white though, I wish blue would wok in my mudroom.

    You nailed it, Kathleen! You actually kicked it up a notch on this one. You did it on your own way, and were tough enough to paint it with green. It definitely puts your home in a refreshing mode that will certainly leave a positive impression on your guests.

    You’re actually doing your home a favor by giving your door a makeover. Are you familiar with what the green door means? In some cultures, it refers to prosperity. So, painting your front door green means to attract wealth. Also, it means you’re environmentally attached to nature. It would be nice if you have abundant plants outside your home.
