Okay, so I'm sure you've guessed by now that I love the color green. Proven here, here, and most recently here.
With this dresser I decided to make it look similar to green dresser #1 because it has been the most popular piece of furniture so far.
This was one U-G-L-Y you ain't got no alibi piece before
After, with dark stained top
The color is Pine needle by Eddie Bauer
This piece would be perfect as a buffet or a TV console
The cabinets open up to reveal two more drawers.

The piece turned out wonderful and I love the color. I can see why it sold quickly. Thanks for linking to the Open House Party.

It looks great!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post this is!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the look of the stained top and painted "bottom". Sometimes I think we can be intimidated by re-finishing the wood tops...but you broke it down and it's not so scary. As long as you have some time, a sander, and a hardware store, you can do this.
I love your green dresser and all the other projects featured.
Thanks!
