Two days before our baby girl is due, we finally finished her room. We were on a limited budget so most everything is re-used from her big sister or from other parts of the house. However, I did sew some new bedding for the crib, which only cost about $15.
Here is the room when we first moved in.
Instead of painting the shelf for this table, I decided to cover it in the same fabric as the bedding.
I just used some Mod Podge, cut the fabric to size and pressed it on.
Yesterday a rude man yelled out to me at the gas station and said
"Looks like you're ready to pop!"
Nice.
it looks awesome!!! the wall color is so pretty with the soft pinks. best of luck for a healthy delivery!
ReplyDeleteI especially love that armoire!! So pretty! Don't worry. I had people asking if I was "due any day" or expecting twins for about the last 2 months of pregnancy. ;) Don't people know that you shouldn't ask those things?!?!
ReplyDeleteI Love the nursery! I do love that green color! My son wants me to paint his room green but I wont paint it dark, what color is it?
ReplyDeletevery pretty, I love all the colors. Congrats
ReplyDeleteI love the colors. I especially like Uncle Ray's print over the crib. Did you know that the baby doll high chair in the print is the one I had when I was little girl? Can't wait for our next little angel to get here.

Thank you for linking up this beautiful nursery to Tuesday's Nursery! fwiw - people will say dorky things when you're preg & after baby comes. A "grandmother" asked whether my son - who was covered head to toe in blue! - was a boy or girl. ??? Yeah. Best wishes with your baby! Hope you can drop by again.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great transformation...it has such a sweet and peaceful feeling to it, hopefully baby is feeling it, too! Thanks for linking up to Roomspiration!
