A lovely place to sit and read
I wasn't about to try the tufting or the piping. Since this was my first time, I wanted to keep it simple .
Overall, I'm happy with the result. I will try this again! Here's how I did it...

Awesome! I too have that exact same chair. I half reupholstered it 5 years ago. The back cushion is still unattached...oops! This may be the inspiration I need to get it done! Beautiful job!
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with the chair. I have the same chair with a matching bench that I bought from a friend. It has an ugly gold velour type material. You have inspired me!

ReplyDeleteI almost didn't comment because I was so jealous. I went to Ohio a little while ago (12 hours away by car) and saw a chair like this at their goodwill. I wanted it sooooo bad, and my hubby hated it. He could not see beyond what it looked like. I so need one of those chairs. Yours looks so good.
ReplyDeleteLove this chair redo! I have one just like this waiting to be redone. Thanks for the inspiration! I am your newest follower!
